Avi Wolf borouchoff began dancing at the bright age of eighteen after being inspired by Pilobolus Dance Theater. Becoming heavily involved in the theater program at Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Avi fell in love with dance after one of his mentors, Dean Drews, encouraged him to enroll in a Jazz class. He recently attended the School at Jacob’s Pillow and is a BFA Senior Dance Major at Temple University. His most recent performances include Kinkhaus with Gunnar Montana, Seasonal Fire and D-man in the Waters under the direction of Milton Meyers on Jacob’s Pillow Summer stage, and his own choreography, DAHNCE, performed at Temple University. This winter he played the principal role of the Cavalier in the Yardley Youth Ballet’s Nutcracker. This summer he is living and performing as a dancer in Rue Compliments de Cirque (The Montreal Circus Festival). He would like to thank his loving family and friends for encouraging him to make it this far. With a background in gymnastics, cross-country and swim, he wastes very little time in developing an athletic and unique sense of style, musicality and movement. Avi is ecstatic to be performing with Christina Eltvedt for the 3rd time.
